This project located in Sierra Blanca, Marbella, showcases our work as house reform specialists, involving the modern renovation of a villa in Marbella’s Golf Valley. As part of our refurbishment services, we focused on a clean, minimalist update for the ground floor and basement, prioritizing a functional layout and improved natural light.
By incorporating exclusive finishes and a custom kitchen design, we transformed the existing property into a bright, updated dream home that seamlessly integrates modern aesthetics and comfort.
This villa captures modern Mediterranean living with clean lines and practical luxury. Commissioned to ROMA Arquitectura Studio, the comprehensive renovation demonstrates how considered space planning and premium materials can transform a home. As the studio leading these high‑end Marbella reforms, we created fluid transitions between rooms, maximised natural light and established a cohesive palette of off‑whites and crisp black accents. This tailored approach effectively eliminates unnecessary visual noise, focusing entirely on structural purity, open‑plan layouts and the stark, elegant contrasts that define each space, ultimately delivering a unified and sophisticated aesthetic identity throughout this entire luxury residence.
The social heart of the villa is arranged across several levels to balance formal entertaining with private relaxation. On the ground floor, a pared-back family room features a striking media wall with an integrated linear fireplace set beneath a flush-mounted screen, accompanied by an elegant black console table and matching minimalist mirrors. The space is anchored by a generous off-white sectional sofa and a solid black marble coffee table, set against neutral walls and a perimeter ceiling cove with indirect LED lighting.
An adjacent lounge area is oriented around a low-profile white television unit, featuring light-toned marble flooring, a large white fabric sofa and a contrasting stone-topped coffee table with a dark metal frame. This room sits bright against an expansive window dressed with soft white drapes, maintaining a clean, open atmosphere.
On the lower-ground floor, the former basement has been transformed into a sophisticated lounge and dining area. This remarkable overhaul demonstrates how high-end Marbella property reforms, realised through our studio’s architectural approach, can unlock the potential of darker, underused spaces and turn them into the focal point of social life. The dining area centres on a robust concrete-effect dining table paired with iconic black Eames-style chairs and sculptural cylindrical pendant lights that cast focused downlight across the layout.
Designed for the modern culinary enthusiast, the open-plan kitchen flows seamlessly into the main dining area. The zone is defined by an expansive central island featuring a thick white worktop that cantilevers out to create a practical breakfast bar. This island integrates smoothly with a floor-to-ceiling run of cabinetry finished in a glossy grey, reflective finish, which beautifully mirrors the room’s ambient light and conceals premium appliances.
Adjacent to this the dining zone features a minimalist rectangular table in a soft grey tone, surrounded by upholstered off-white chairs with sharp black metal legs. The entire setting is beautifully anchored by a plush pale rug that provides underfoot comfort and delineates the transition from the kitchen. A symmetrical gallery of four abstract black-and-white paintings are hung along the main wall, adding an extra layer of sophistication to this highly functional, open layout. The spatial continuity is further enhanced by matching stone-effect floor tiles and recessed downlights, ensuring that the meal-preparation and dining areas read as a single, harmonious space, flooded with light from the rear arched windows.
The private quarters focus on rich textures and bespoke comfort, serving as prime examples of how high-end property reforms in Marbella, implemented through our signature design approach, can elevate daily living. The principal bedroom is an elegant sanctuary dominated by an oversized bespoke padded black‑leather headboard that spans the main wall in a series of clean, grid‑like rectangular panels. It features minimalist black bedside tables with light stone tops, a matching off‑white reading armchair nestled by the window, and striking oval pendant lights that cast a soft glow. This master suite maintains a sophisticated atmosphere where floor‑to‑ceiling double‑track curtains frame the exterior views, adding soft textile layers that complement the polished floors below.
The secondary and guest bedrooms retain these luxurious standards, while each room expresses its own character. One guest room features a dramatic sloping ceiling with white‑painted timber beams that respect the roof architecture while modernising the space. The light‑filled layout contrasts a dark, structured headboard with a thick faux‑fur throw in charcoal grey, beautifully illuminated by a clustered trio of spherical pendant lights suspended at staggered heights.
Another bedroom embraces a warmer palette, using a continuous light‑wood headboard panel with integrated floating bedside tables to deliver a highly streamlined, linear aesthetic. This timber backing is paired with cosy burgundy accents in the form of velvet scatter cushions and delicate clear glass globes that expose warm filaments, creating an inviting, intimate ambience. All bedrooms are seamlessly tied together by pristine white walls and high‑quality flooring, ensuring that the private areas of the villa read as a cohesive suite of individual retreats. The layout avoids unnecessary visual clutter, letting the interaction between tailored joinery, crisp structural lines, and focused decorative lighting define the luxury of the private quarters.
The main bathroom has been reimagined as a sanctuary of minimalist luxury and wellness, representing the final element of our firm’s bespoke property reforms in Marbella and interior design project. Dominated by premium book‑matched white marble with dramatic grey veining, the wet area incorporates a spacious walk‑in shower behind a seamless glass screen. This dedicated zone features sleek matt black fixtures, a ceiling‑mounted rain showerhead, and an integrated marble bench.
The dry area hosts a bespoke floating vanity in light‑wood that supports a seamless marble worktop with twin basins, twin recessed black taps, and dual vertically oriented retro‑illuminated mirrors. Positioned nearby, beneath the high window, is a striking freestanding oval bath with a floor‑mounted mixer. A wall‑hung toilet with a concealed cistern completes this clean, uncluttered architectural design, beautifully illuminated by a perimeter ceiling cove with subtle recessed downlights.
